Weimar. After an intensive break, the play "I love you. But don't let yourself be shooting over" to the DNT Weimar studio stage. On Sunday, October 6th, at 8 p.m., the audience can look forward to a gripping staging, in which Krunoslav Šebrek can be seen again in the role of Papa Maik. The piece, written by Dirk Laucke, deals with current social and political issues and, through Maik's perspective, offers deeper insights into the concerns of a father.

The monologue of Laucke revolves around the complex relationship between parents and their adult children. Papa Maik, who has strongly admitted to his beliefs as a conscientious objector in the past, faces the challenge that his son Chris now wants to go to the Bundeswehr. This decision makes Maik Hart and lets him doubt the value of his own beliefs and the upbringing of his children.
