The Martin celebration of the St. Marien community in Bad Berka promises a very special experience on Sunday, November 10th. At 5 p.m. a shadow play begins in the festively illuminated town church, which brings the history of St. Martin alive. After that, a lantern parade moves through the spa park, led by a Martins actor, while the trombone choir ensures the background music. A highlight for all participants are the delicious Martinshörnchen on the music shell!

in Heichelheim and Sachsenhausen is also celebrated. On Thursday, November 7th, the Martins parade starts at 4:30 p.m. at the village church in Heichelheim, followed by a sociable end in the community center. Sachsenhausen lets the tradition revive on Friday, November 8th, at 5 p.m. with allusion and prayer, followed by a move through the village

In Mönchenholzhausen, too, a Martins parade for the youngest will be carried out on Sunday, followed by a cozy end with potato buffers, mulled wine and children's punch. The church festival in Buchfart has music and entertainment from 5 p.m., while the parish in Kromsdorf organized a lantern parade to the castle on Monday, November 11th, where sausages and hot drinks are also offered.
