Weimar. An exciting weekend full of culture awaits the city of Weimar! From captivating silent films to rousing choir concerts - here are the highlights that should not be missed!

On Sunday, November 17th, the Forum Seebach becomes a musical highlight for the scene! At 10.30 a.m., the "Anima Libera" choir opens with an impressive repertoire that includes works by greats such as Bach and Mendelssohn. In the afternoon, at 4 p.m., the gossip poppy woman under the direction of Moni Zabiensky will enchant the audience with songs from all over the world. Accompanied by the talented Sabine Könke on the accordion, this event promises to become a feast for the ears!

Another cultural jewel will take place on Sunday evening in the Kino's light house! At 7.30 p.m., Hans Kyser's Luther Stumm film is shown from 1927, a masterpiece that represents the life of the reformer in impressive pictures. At that time, this film caused heated debates between Catholics and Protestants and was censored. Richard Siedhoff will ensure the musician background on the piano, while theologian Michael Haspel provides the audience with exciting background information.

And that's not all! On Monday, November 18, from 7.30 p.m., Kammermusikwerke from Bach, Haydn, Schumann and Brahms will be heard in the Fürstenhaus Fürstenhaus. Here talented students show their skills in horn, harp, violin and piano. A weekend full of musical experiences that makes the cultural city of Weimar shine in new splendor!
