Weimar. An exciting event for the whole family is imminent! On November 9th, the first family fair "Famfair" opens its goals on the picturesque Holzdorf country estate. This revolves around the topics of family, children and babies - and the best? Admission is free!

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Local companies present their handmade products and creative services. The fair not only promises stands, but also exciting workshops and interactive activities for all ages. Whether expectant mothers, freshly baked parents or children of all ages - the "Famfair" has something to offer for everyone!

Support for local small businesses

The innovative concept was launched by Carolin Wurster and Michelle Langner from Baden-Württemberg, supported by a dedicated team from the Weimar region. The two mothers are passionate about offering local small businesses and service providers a platform that often struggles in the current economic situation. "We want to create a common stage for all smaller companies from the region," they emphasize.

The "Famfair" will not only be a place of trade, but also to the encounter! Children can look forward to handicrafts, face painting, glitter tattoos and an exciting outdoor course. Consulting actions such as a children's disco, children's yoga and an exciting children's book reading are also on the program. For the parents there are informative keynote speeches from regional experts on various topics. A special Highlight are the pendulum covers from Holzdorf to Schoppendorf, which offer a piece of real country life.
