The Weimar Bad Lobenstein Diakonia Foundation cordially invites you to enjoy this autumn highlight together with friends, acquaintances and colleagues. The Christomarkt promises a dazzling variety of handmade products made of wood, pottery, weaving mills and even cigars! Here people with and without disabilities work hand in hand to present the best creations.

The culinary offer is impressive: the in-house kitchen spoils with hearty treats, while the Christo bakery seduces Christmas cookies and the Christo dairy provides delicious cheese and yoghurt variations. The atmospheric autumn decoration, warming fire shells and numerous light sources create an inviting atmosphere, perfect for a first mulled wine of the season. A highlight of the market is the lantern parade at the end, which leads to the prayer to the Altengese church on the occasion of the Martin's Day. Pastor Anne Boelter will tell the touching story of St. Martin, while the participants can proudly present their self -made lanterns.

in the Christopherushof workshops, where around 160 people with disabilities are employed, visitors can not only admire the products, but also learn more about the diverse care and employment opportunities. In addition to the Christo bakery and the Christo-Molkerei, which are known regionally, the location also offers insights into the integration aid of the Diakonie Foundation, which supports many people in works and living sites. The Christomarkt is therefore not only a place of creating, but also the encounter and information.
