Celebrate the variety: Festival The diversity inspires Bad Salzungen!

On September 18, the Pfitzbachpark in Bad Salzungen experienced a special day: The “Festival of Diversity” attracted numerous visitors who came together under the motto “Experience diversity and be strong together” to exchange ideas about cultural and social diversity.

from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the event offered a colorful program for young and old. Among other things, the guests were able to look forward to a bouncy castle of the district sports association Bad Salzungen e.V., to try out pleasure or creative promotions in the Fröbelmobil of the Children's and Youth Art School Wartburgkreis on the role slide of the State Sports Association of Thuringia. The BMX and skate show, which attracted many spectators and caused enthusiasm, was particularly impressive. An interesting campaign was the "cans against prejudices", which was offered by the youth migration service to playfully get into conversation with integration.

a wide range and culinary delights

The physical well -being was also taken care of: coffee, cake and popcorn invited the guests to enjoy. The Thuringian Forest exhibited interesting natural preparations, while the Wartburgkreis Job Center and the youth workers of the city of Bad Salzungen provided games, information and graffiti campaigns.

The event was the result of a great cooperation: The festival was organized by the International Bund - Youth Migration Service Wartburgkreis, the JFZ Allendorf and the city of Bad Salzungen, supported by other organizations such as the Wartburgkreis, the Thuringian Forest and others. Together they set a strong sign of openness, tolerance and community as part of the intercultural week 2024 in the Wartburg district.

The promotion of this event comes through the partnership for democracy "Denk Bunt in the Wartburgkreis" and will be part of the federal program "Living Democracy!" by the Federal Ministry for Family, Seniors, Women and Youth as well as through the Thuringian state program for democracy, tolerance and cosmopolitanism "Think Colorful" by the Thuringian Ministry of Youth, Education and Sport.

The team is available for the citizens who are interested in questions, suggestions or project projects. In addition, the coordination offices, Simon Ortner (Democracy Wartburgkreis - 03695/8582291) or Kevin Rodeck, can be contacted.
