Breitungen, Deutschland - Attention, Wartburgkreis! From November 12, the region will become the scene of an exciting Bundeswehr exercise, which lasts until November 22nd. In the municipality of Breitungen, in the district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen, a combat exercise with vehicle accompaniment is carried out. Around 200 soldiers are mobilized with 40 wheel and three chain vehicles to cross the Bad Salzungen city area, especially the village of Allendorf, and the municipality of Barchfeld-Himmelborn. Residents and visitors should be particularly attentive in these areas!

And that's not all! From November 21st to 28th there will be another exercise that will keep the region on trot. This relocation exercise includes vehicle accompaniment and even night marches. The Wartburg district is affected in the Bad Salzungen, Merkers, Vacha and the Werra-Suhltal area. Drivers and pedestrians who use the B 19 from Eisenach to Barchfeld or the B 62 from Barchfeld to Vacha must expect increased traffic. A total of 500 soldiers with 350 cycling vehicles and sometimes heavy load transport are expected - an impressive picture!

The Bundeswehr calls all hikers, hunters and other people in these areas to keep their eyes open and adjust to the exercises.
