Suhl in alarm state: destroyed cars and brazen thieves on the way!

The night in Suhl was anything but quiet! Several cars became the destination of Vandalen, who were up to mischief in Friedrich-König-Straße. There, unknown people left the left exterior mirrors of two cars - a hideous act of property damage that frightens many citizens.

But that wasn't all! The side window of a vehicle was hit in Mühltorstrasse and a black leather jacket was stolen. The perpetrators did not stay inactive either in Rimbachstrasse: both a car and a truck were attacked. It is currently still unclear whether something has also been stolen here. The police have started the investigation and are urgently looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incidents!

The police call for help!

These alarming incidents all occurred on Sunday night. The State Police Inspection Suhl has informed the public and appeals to possible witnesses to report. Every hint could be decisive!

The frequency of such criminal activities calls up questions: How safe is our property really? The crime statistics show that around 1.8 million thefts were registered in Germany in 2022 - a terrifying increase of 20 percent compared to the previous year! The clearance opportunities vary greatly, so that only 7.9 percent of the cases in money theft are cleared up, while shoplifting cuts significantly better with 89.8 percent.

With a clear call to the community, the situation remains tense. Suhl faces the challenge of protecting the security of the citizens and taking those responsible behind these crimes. Do not let yourself be put into fainting, but stay vigilant!
