Schleiz. A musical festival in the Saale-Orla district is imminent! On Sunday, October 27th, a breathtaking final concert of the chamber music workshop will take place in the magnificent knight's hall of Burgk Castle, which makes the hearts of all music lovers beat faster. The anticipation is huge!

This year, numerous music students under the direction of Kerstin Berlich from Tanna have registered in order not only to develop their talents in the orchestra, but also to be able to shine as soloists. The chamber music workshop, which started 30 years ago, offers young musicians the incredible opportunity to make music with experienced professionals and enthusiastic laypersons - an experience that is priceless!

a program full of highlights!

The audience can look forward to a rousing program that works by compositional sizes such as Hainichen, C. Ph. E. Bach, Joh. Chr. Fr. Bach, Brahms and Bartók. But that's not all! An exciting contemporary work is also presented, which awaits modern playing techniques and should exceed the expectations of the audience. The talented Friedemann Neef from Roßwein took over the artistic direction.

What makes this concert so special? Not only the wonderful music, but also the festive atmosphere that brings the Saale-Orla district to life. With this event, the State Association of Thuringian Laienorchester celebrates the 100th birthday of its umbrella organization, the BDLO, which includes around 880 orchestras with a total of 34,000 musicians. An impressive anniversary that has to be celebrated!
