Witch races in the Harz: magical obstacles to Halloween fun!
On October 31, a very special event is on the program in the Harz: The first Harz witch race invites sports-loving families and friends to an exciting obstacle. The event takes place in the picturesque Harzer Hexenreich in Rothesütte and delights the participants with natural and magical challenges that need to be mastered. The highlight of the run is the largest witch broom in the world, which serves as an impressive backdrop and rounds off the atmosphere perfectly.
This novelty not only brings sporty challenges, but also offers a lot of fun. The participants can discover different obstacles on a course of two kilometers, which invite you to climb, jump and crawl. The focus is on the team concept, so that families and friends can play the route together and measure their strength. The organizer, the Harztorlauf Association, attaches great importance to a joint experience.
a magical experience for all age groups
The Harz witch race is not only suitable for adults and young people. There is a special Bambini run for the small participants, which starts at 10 a.m. This is designed for children and also takes place on the site of the Harzer Hexenreich. The obstacle course for the little ones is free of charge and does not require registration in advance. The 2- and 4-kilometer obstacle for older children and adults then begins at 11:00 a.m.
What makes the event also exciting is the possibility of participating in costumed. There are no restrictions on the Halloween celebration, and the participants are invited to appear in imaginative disguises. Whether as a witch or devil, creepy or ridiculous - anyone who wants to let their creativity run free and become part of the cheerful atmosphere.
Registration for the race is online, and the number of participants is limited due to the ongoing construction work in the Harzer Hexenreich. The terrain cannot yet be used completely, which is why prior registration is urgently advised. The fees amount to 7.77 euros for the 2-kilometer obstacle run and 10 euros for the 4-kilometer run, they should be paid on site on the day of the event. There is also the possibility to register as a group or club.
