35 years of peaceful revolution - an evening full of memories

Over 100 guests came to the Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences for the memorial event "35 years of peaceful revolution". Contemporary witnesses such as Holger Wengler and Klaus Zeh reported on the moving events of the turning point. Posters from this era were made available for an impressive exhibition, while Viola Sporleder-Geb and Diana Skyba moderated the panel discussion. The atmosphere was invited with emotions when the audience told the storming of the Nordhäuser Stasi headquarters to prevent the annihilation of files. University Vice President Cordula Borbe praised the courage of the people who fought for democracy and freedom, and emphasized the importance of these events for today's society.
