The structure of the fire brigade
The Nordhausen professional fire brigade today has 42 employees, including 36 civil servants in the middle fire service, three in the upscale fire service and three employees. "The daily guards in the 24-hour service is seven men," explains Thomas Schinköth, head of the fire brigade. These committed emergency services are always ready to act quickly and efficiently in an emergency. In addition, a colleague of the upper service is on standby as an operational management service. The city also has 14 local and district weirs that can support if necessary.
The fire brigade Nordhausen is equipped with modern vehicles, including an HLF 20/16, which serves as an initial vehicle.
