Martins parade in Jena-Cospeda: A sea of lights for young and old!

A festive evening full of lights and vocals are imminent! Next Monday, November 8, 2024, Jena-Cospeda will be transformed into a radiant sea of lights when the riding club Mühle Cospeda invites you to the traditional Martins celebration. From 5 p.m. the small and large participants gather at Mühlenweg 39 to experience the magical lampion parade together.

The St. Martin, majestically on his horse, will lead the crowd, followed by happy children who shine with colorful lanterns. Martin's history is briefly told in order to underline the importance of this special festival. The move meanders through the streets of Cospeda and ends on the site of the riding club, where the celebrations culminate.

After the move, the participants can expect a cozy get -together with delicious delicacies! Stock bread on the fire bowls, freshly baked pretzels, hearty grilled sausages and hot drinks take care of the physical well -being.
