Ilm-Kreis. St. Martin is just around the corner and the anticipation is huge! Three places in the ILM district invite the whole family to festive celebrations that warm up the heart and strengthen the community!

The regular school Gräfinau-Angstedt will become the festival mile on Friday, November 15th! From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., visitors can expect a trial rally that leaves nothing to be desired. With a printing and casting workshop, exciting escape rooms, funny clowning and creative craft routes, a lot of entertainment is provided here! And best of all: a culinary festival from crepés to international soups ensures that nobody goes home hungry! The starting signal to the rally is at 5:30 p.m. - an event that should not be missed!

in Kirchheim will be brought to life on Thursday, November 7th! Under the motto "Martini in Kirchheim", the elementary school together with the fire brigade association invites you to a magical lantern parade. The celebrations start at 5 p.m. and offer a campfire at the gym as well as delicious dishes for all large and small guests! An unforgettable evening in the village community is waiting!

The Kita Holzhausen invites you to a festive Martinsfest on Monday, November 11th! From 4.30 p.m. the Martin play in the Trinity Church will be performed, followed by a lantern parade that brings light and joy into the dark. The "Christmas parcel convoy" campaign is also presented here, in which children can donate to children. A nice thought that touches the hearts!

In addition, there is an important lecture on traffic safety for seniors in Ilmenau! On Tuesday, November 12th, from 9.30 a.m. to 11 a.m., light tests and handling of walkers will be dealt with. The Arnstadt-Ilmenau adult education center still has free places-a great opportunity to be safe!
