Ettish life celebrates inauguration: New fairground for the community!
Ettisheben. A new fairground was inaugurated in Ettishe life, and the citizens are proud and enthusiastic about this new meeting point for events and festivals.
On Saturday morning, the residents of the small district of Arnstadt gathered to experience this special moment. In addition to a plant exchange in which citizens exchanged their seedlings and seeds, it was above all the opening of the fairground that caused a lot of enthusiasm. The mayor opened the celebrations and recalled the origins of this project, which was launched about four years ago when Mayor Frank Spilling encouraged the citizens to bring ideas to design their community.
a place for community and tradition
The vision of a fairground quickly took shapes, and now it is a reality. "We are full of joy and pride here," said the mayor. This place should not only be a meeting point for festivals and celebrations, but also symbolizes the cohesion of the village community. With around 150 inhabitants, active participation in the local life is of essential importance. "The idea for this place came directly from the community, which is a strong sign for our cooperation," emphasizes Marcel Koppe.
"This fairground will be a place of encounter - for young and old, for families and friends," he added. Festures are to be celebrated here, laughed together and new traditions are also being created. The invitation to participation is confirmed by the applause of the citizens who inspire the mayor's words.
construction work is still running
Melanie Brumme from the city administration extends the explanations. It emphasizes that this new place is not only important for the citizens of Ettishe life, but also for hiking craftsmen from the neighboring towns and the core city. "We are all Arnstadt," she says with a smile. The last construction phase is still completed in autumn, which also includes a light -flooded wind protection that is to be added to the solid wooden building.
The entire construction of the fairground amounts to 108,000 euros, with 65 percent of the costs covered by funding. Thus, the financial burden for the municipality remains manageable, and the place can also serve as a point of contact for the surrounding communities.
Another highlight of the inauguration ceremony was the plant exchange exchange, which offered those present the opportunity to exchange their garden plants and seeds. The celebrations were accompanied by musical performances, a grill stand and a brunch buffet, so that the village community was able to take part in this special day.
The inauguration of the fairground is not only a new chapter in the history of Ettish life, but also a celebration of the coexistence and the commitment of the citizens. For further details on the activities in the region and the fairground itself, See the report on www.thueringer-allgemeine.de .
