Yesterday the quiet town of Lehmannsbrück experienced a remarkable police lightning campaign! When checking speeds on the busy K62, the officials found alarming numbers: Of 404 vehicles driven through, there were no more than 39 speeders! This means that almost every tenth driver disregarded the prescribed top speed of 50 km/h.

The shock of the measurements was particularly large for a driver who overrun with breakneck 88 km/h! It is no secret that driving too fast is one of the main causes for devastating traffic accidents. The police urgently warn: "Excessive speed not only leads to enormous damage to property, but also to intolerable personal injury and, in the worst case, could even cost life." A call to prudence, because in accordance with §3 StVO, the permissible maximum speed even under ideal conditions must be observed.
