Arnstadt: Mourning Hall shines new - acoustics and light modernized!

Arnstadt. Great news from the ILM district: The mourning hall in the cemetery of Arnstadt shines in new splendor after extensive renovation work! The acoustics were raised to a completely new level to offer relatives a dignified environment for funeral celebrations and memorial events. "A soundproofing layer in the entire ceiling area ensures a respectful atmosphere," explains Alexandra Lehmann, the spokeswoman for the city.

But that's not all! The hall not only received a fresh interior paint that optically upgrades the room, but also modern lighting. With the introduction of energy-efficient LED technology, an important step towards sustainability is taken. "The new ceiling lighting can only be installed later due to delivery difficulties," Lehmann regrets, but assures that the existing lighting will work reliably by then. On Monday the large mourning hall will be opened again for funeral celebrations and other occasions!
