Santa Clauses bring the mood: Erfurt rattles at Christmas Eve campaign!

Christmas Eve in Erfurt could not have been more festive: hundreds of Santa Clauses on old mopeds should crackle through the city, but black ice thwarted the plans. Instead, only about 300 happy Santa-Doubles gathered on the cathedral square, such as the Stern Event captain Enrico Blachnik noted that security is going on in this smooth time, as it had already fallen on the way.

Nevertheless, the spirit of the celebrations remained unbroken. Instead of pulling through the streets with mopeds, the participants celebrated in happy Santa Claus costumes and gathered at the city's main culture. Unlike usual than at the 8th Santa Claus exit, almost 330 historical vehicles and even more Santa costumes rolled through the streets, as well as the TAG24 announced. This traditional exit became an absolute hit and exceeded all expectations of the organizers who were happy about the great participation.

an unexpected record

The event that enriches the Christmas magic in Erfurt with the typical fragrance of two -stroke crushing has become a cult. The combination of nostalgic vehicles and cheerful Santa Clauses attracts numerous spectators every year. The cathedral square served as the start and target point and accompanied the festive atmosphere, which was carried into the night by the bold trips of the Simson-Mopeds and other classic cars. A thank you went to the police and other helpers who made this special celebration possible again this year.
