Creepy adventure in the Erfurt Zoo: Halloween festival for the whole family!

The most scary time of the year is just around the corner, and the Erfurt zoo is turning into a scary spectacle! With Halloween within sight, the zoopark becomes a hotspot for creepy fans. Since last weekend (October 26 and 27), visitors have been able to marvel at huge spiders, creepy skeletons and bubbling cauldron. Preparations have been running since the beginning of October and the excitement is noticeable!

creepy attractions and exciting activities

The big Halloween festival on Thursday (October 31) and Saturday (November 1) promises an unforgettable experience. Creative visitors can try out pumpkin carving, while exciting activities such as monster training and an impressive fire show are waiting for the guests. The "forest of the (er) horror" is described as particularly creepy and is "not for the faint of heart". Every creepy fan will get their money's worth here!

But that's not all! In the elephant house and in the rhino house, visitors can get in touch with crawling cups and snakes. There is also a giant ribbon feeding of the elephants-a real highlight! In order to strengthen the creepy atmosphere, the zoom workers dress up as witches and ghosts. And best of all: children who cost each other get free admission on the festive days! The zoo extends its opening hours until 7 p.m. to give all horror fans the opportunity to experience the scary attractions.
