Erfurt celebrates the new opening: Popular restaurant attracts with Italian delicacies!

In the cathedral city of Erfurt, gastronomy can look forward to the opening of a new Italian restaurant. On December 4, 2024, the "L’Osteria" opened its doors for hungry guests in the former Görtz branch on Anger. The opening ceremony was a complete success. With a live band and a variety of pizza and pasta testing snacks, the solemn atmosphere was perfectly accompanied. But an exciting story hid behind this festive facade: until shortly before the opening, the construction work had caused excitement at the last minute, as Kevin Hopf, the operator of "L’Osteria", confirmed to Thuringia24. On November 29, just two days before the opening, the craftsmen were hardly through and the last work was carried out until the last hour.

rapid transformation and creative solutions

The impressive redesign of the former sales area into an inviting restaurant showed the skills of the interior designers that have already successfully worked on other “L’Osteria” locations. The guests can expect a wide selection of Neapolitan pizza, pasta and salads, many of the dishes are also available in a vegan version. This diversity emphasizes the new restaurant as an attractive address in Erfurt.

In addition, another project contributes to improving Erfurt gastronomy and shopping landscape. On an area of around 5,500 m², a modern ensemble from a business and parking garage is created in the area of the deer garden. This was completely rented out before the start of construction. The REWE food range will take over a 1,600 m² sales area. There is also a budget-friendly design hotel of the H-Hotels Group with 213 rooms and a self-service restaurant. According to the city administration of Erfurt, the parking garage will offer 548 parking spaces for cars, including charging infrastructure for electric cars, in order to meet the increasing demand for environmentally friendly mobility solutions. Andreas Bausewein, Mayor of Erfurt, underlined the importance of this project for urban development and strengthening retail in the city center.

This aspiring gastronomy and trade offer, both with the opening of "L’Osteria" and the new project in the Hirschgarten, will certainly help to further increase the variety and attractiveness of Erfurt. The city thus experiences a remarkable change that should not only boost tourism, but also enriches the daily life of the Erfurt
