Diverse sounds and memories: Wartburgkreis celebrates cultural weekends!

Wartburgkreis. An exciting weekend is imminent! The Wartburgregion is conquered by a colorful bouquet at events that ranges from a rousing library festival to gripping musical performances.

On Saturday, November 9th, the region is not only confronted with memories of the pogroms from 1938 and the fall of the Berlin Wall of 1989, but also with a festival that makes the hearts beat faster. Here are the five top events that you shouldn't miss!

1) Library festival: Theater and music combined

The library festival in Mihla is an integral part of the cultural landscape and celebrates its 21st edition in the “Goldene Aue” community center at 7.30 p.m. The TIS Ensemble from Nazza will ensure the best entertainment with the performance "All only Theater", followed by live music by Elias & Mark. Admission is free, but donations are welcome to support the library with new media!

2) Organ and trumpet: A top -class concert

In the cultural church of St. Trinitatis in Ruhla, visitors can expect a musical highlight: Tom Aschütz on the organ and Alexander Huth on the trumpet present masterpieces from Mozart to Wagner at 7.30 p.m. The Trinitatis bar opens its gates and serves snacks. Tickets are available at the box office for twelve euros!

The two young talents already have impressive careers and promise to captivate the audience with their performance.

3) Jazz, blues and more: a musical fireworks

In the jazz cellar of the old male in Eisenach, the Werner Neumann Elektrik Trio will take the stage on Saturday at 8 p.m. With a mixture of jazz, rock and blues, they bring improvisations that the great masters of the genre honor. And for the blues lovers: Jürgen Kerth, the king of the East German blues, appears with his band "Kurz & Lang" at 9 p.m. in the old slaughterhouse. An evening full of emotions and musical passion is guaranteed!

And that's not all! The clubnight in the scale in Schweina promises a night full of music and energy with artists who cover everything from jazz to soul to techno. Be ready for an unforgettable weekend in the Wartburgregion!
