On November 9, 2024, the municipality of Rhönblick invites you to a special event that celebrates the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The focus is on two exciting projects: the "Grenzerloft" and the "mobile land kitchen". These events are part of the funding projects of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve and promise to inspire visitors.

From 10 a.m., the "Grenzerloft" opens its doors at the Dachsberg border tower. A fascinating exhibition about the border and reversal period is presented here. Visitors can marvel at the first conversions to the apartment and immerse themselves in the history of the region. A must for everyone who is interested in the past and the transformation of the region!

a culinary Highlight: the "mobile land kitchen"

At 11 a.m. the “mobile country kitchen” will be presented in the village hall. This innovative project brings a breath of fresh air to regional cuisine and shows how mobile and flexible culinary delights can be. A highlight for all gourmets and friends of regional cuisine who can look forward to new taste experiences.
