Mosewald School: Funding Association receives price for social commitment!

A radiant day for the Mosewald School in Eisenach! On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the school's support association was awarded the coveted prize "Economy thanks the volunteering". This prestigious honor, which is awarded annually by TAG Wohnen und Service GmbH, recognizes extraordinary social commitment and emphasizes the tireless efforts for the community. With a prize money of 250 euros, the sponsoring association will now build a Trimm-Dich-Platz on the schoolyard, which is intended to help the around 313 students to make more movement and active cooperation.

"The members of the association are true heroes! Their commitment ensures that movement becomes an integral part of everyday school life and cultural barriers are broken down in a playful way," praised Ingo Wachtmeister, the deputy of the city of Eisenach, during the ceremony. In order to motivate the students in addition, sergeant also presented play and handicrafts- a small thank you for the great work of the support association.
