With a lovingly decorated gift table in the foyer, she will collect gifts that are distributed to children who have to spend Christmas in the hospital.

lion mom: a heart for sick children

Susanne Saage is known far beyond the borders of handball for her tireless commitment. For over 20 years, she has been committed to ensuring that children who are in the hospital during the holidays do not have to do without the presents. The moving story began when her son Moritz fell ill at leukemia at the age of only nine months. To encourage him, she hung a sign with the inscription "Psst, the lion sleeps!" At his door - and so she became a lion mom. Today Moritz is healthy and strong, and his mother has made it a life work to help other children in similar situations.

This year the lion mom plans to reach over 60 hospitals nationwide and to give the little patients a pleasure. The support of the TBV fans is essential. Every euro counts to make the Löwenmom campaign a full success. Be there and show your solidarity - together we can give the children an unforgettable Christmas!
