On Wednesday morning, around 8:45 a.m., the fire brigade was called for a dramatic effort in the city center when a fire broke out in a residential and commercial building on Johannisplatz. At first it was reported by a devastating roof truss fire, but it turned out on site that the flames raged in the basement and spread through the three -story building. A stroller also burned on the ground floor. A scenario that was extremely dangerous for the firefighters and the residents!

The brave firefighters saved twelve people from the flames, including two small children. Unfortunately, four people were injured - including a firefighter and three residents who urgently had to be treated medically. The affected areas around Johannisplatz, Frauenplan and Frauenberg were severely restricted during the mission, which made the situation even more dramatic!
