In the last Bundesliga season 2023/24, THSV Eisenach experienced two remarkable victories against Leipzig. The first took place in the Werner-Aßmann-Halle in December 2023, where Eisenach won the duel with 25:24, and the second was in March 2024 when they triumphed in the Leipzig "Quarterback Immobilien Arena" with 31:29. The fans remained the second game, especially in memory, in which over 1000 Eisenach supporters traveled to Leipzig with a special train.
