Eisenach: Fire brigade saves eleven people from burning basement!

drama in Eisenach! On Wednesday morning, a devastating basement fire broke out in a half -timbered house on Johannisplatz, which could have cost eleven people. But the brave fire brigade was on the spot and saved the trapped people out of the flames. Part of the group was even saved with a turntable ladder - a true heroic game!

At around 8:30 a.m. the flames rose up in the basement of the house. More than 20 firefighters bravely fought against the inferno. They managed to control the fire until the early morning, but the danger was not yet banned - the missions continued. For the residents there were traffic disruptions in the vicinity of Frauenplan and Frauenberg.

Fire brigade in continuous use

The cause of the fire has so far remained a mystery, but the fire brigade has prevented worse things with its quick intervention. A big thank you goes to the emergency services who have given everything to save the residents and fight the flames. Eisenach once again shows that quick help is available in need!
