This suspect, who lives in the Eisenach area without a permanent residence, is now considered the main person responsible for this terrible incident. It looks like, the public prosecutor has the investigation in full swing, in particular on the suspect's motivation. On November 7, 2024, he was finally transferred to the Goldlauter correctional facility after an adhesive examination.
