Erfurt, Deutschland - drama on the tracks! The train route between Eisenach and Erfurt is closed for two weeks, from November 8th to 22nd. Eisenach, the idyllic city, is faced with massive restrictions in local and long-distance traffic. Deutsche Bahn limits regional transport and the commuters are faced with a real challenge!

For travelers on line RE 1 (Göttingen - Erfurt - Glaucal,) there are drastic changes. The trains now end in Erfurt, and the hold in Neudietendorf and Gotha falls away!
