Celebrate with: 30 years of chamber orchestra in Gößnitz!

Altenburger Land. An exciting weekend is imminent! In Altenburger Land there are two exciting events that will inspire music and model railroad lovers.

On Saturday, November 2, the renowned Chamber Orchestra Collegium Instrumental e.V. celebrates its 30th anniversary with a large festival concert in the city church of Gößnitz. From 4 p.m. (admission: 3:30 p.m.), the extended ensemble under the direction of Robert Klein will present works by greats like Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Schubert. Admission is free, but the musicians are happy about a donation to cover their expenses. A musical highlight that you shouldn't miss!

model railway exhibition in Schmölln

For model railway fans, there is also reason to be happy: From 1st to 3. November, the MEC Altenburger Land organizes its 19th model railway exhibition at the Sparkasse in Schmölln. The doors are open on Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Here visitors can experience the fascinating world of model railways and be inspired by creative systems.

In addition, the youth welfare day will take place on November 13th in the landscape hall of the Altenburger Land district office. Under the motto "Generation Future- Between Demolition and Optimity", experts discuss the challenges of the young generation and the role of youth welfare. An important event for everyone who works for the concerns of children and adolescents.
