Dispute over refugees: Europe's reaction to Syria's political upheaval!
Österreich - The political tumult in Europe started a new chapter when the debate about Syrian refugees opened in the National Council. On the occasion of the last meeting of 2024, the focus was on asylum rights, especially in the light of recent developments in Syria. The Austrian EU MPs, including Harald Vilimsky from the FPÖ, demanded that Syrian refugees should return to their homeland in Austria.
