Siemens Energy relies on young talents: Mülheimer Economic Award at a glance

Mülheim. Siemens Energy relies on the map of the young talent and hunts with innovative methods for applicants! In order to win the coveted Mülheimer Economic Award, the company has put together a creative training program and even advertises with influencers!

At Siemens Energy, everything revolves around the "Next gen" - the young generation, which is to be trained as future specialists. The company has launched a new concept called "Seed" (secretion for seeds), which is intended to lay the foundation for a close bond between trainees and the group. The path is clear: Anyone who starts at Siemens can benefit from internationally recognized training and start a career that goes far beyond the usual industry standards.

Siemens Energy relies on virality

In order to achieve the young target group, Siemens Energy committed the trendy influencer Tobii_fH, who inspires a young audience with his 370,000 followers on Instagram. In a humorous video, he shows the first day of a new trainee and also brings the message over that not only certificates count, but above all passion. "They don't look at certificates at Siemens Energy so much, but on passion," emphasizes the influencer and thus draws the attention of generation z to the company.

Currently Siemens Energy has a whopping 400 learners in Mülheim, including 150 trainees, 140 dual students and around 100 work students. The recruits go enthusiastically and with anticipation for the time together in the "Dream team" in their training. With this year's Mülheimer Economic Award, endowed with 5,000 euros, Siemens Energy has real chances of winning when the jury comes together on November 15 in the airship hangar of Essen Airport to give the award.
