drama in Minden! On Saturday evening, November 23, around 10:20 p.m., the fire brigade was called for a terrible traffic accident on the southern ramp. The alarm message spoke of three seriously injured people, including one that was still trapped in the vehicle. A large contingent of rescue workers, including the professional fire brigade, was immediately mobilized, several ambulances from Minden, Porta Westfalica and Petershagen as well as emergency doctors from Minden and Bad Oeynhausen.

When the first emergency services arrived, police officers were already on site who matted the fire engines. The accident occurred on the Gustav-Heinemann Bridge, where a car had strayed from the road and the embankment collapsed. The vehicle was now below the bridge, next to a narrow path. The situation was critical: three people were seriously injured and the fire brigade had to free a person with a technical device from the car. In view of the dramatic situation, an additional emergency doctor from Rinteln and a rescue helicopter was requested to ensure medical care.

The cramped conditions significantly difficult. After the primary care, two of the injured were transported to the Minden Clinic, while another patient was flown to the Hanover Medical University with the rescue helicopter Christoph Niedersachsen. The use of the approximately 45 forces ended around 00:30. A terrible incident that shook the night in Minden!
