Shocking police raid: 15 arrests against hate crime!

In a spectacular campaign by the Austrian police, over 400 civil servants were mobilized in seven federal states on Friday to smash a dangerous group that is responsible for severe hate crimes. The use, directed by Styrian investigative authorities, has so far led to 15 arrests. It is a group of perpetrators who even bears the name "Pedo Hunter" and was specifically directed against homosexual community. According to Joachim Huber, the deputy state police director of Styria, the background of these raids are linked to the heaviest “hate crime” offenses in which violence was committed due to the sexual orientation of the victims, such as Kosmo reported.

The investigation brought shocking details to light. The perpetrators used social media to contact their victims through fake profiles. Instead of the hoped -for meetings, the unsuspecting victims were lured to remote places, where they met four to eight masked attackers who brutally abused them. These attacks, which began in the Graz area district last year between May and July, included serious physical injuries and even attempted murder. The victims were not only physically injured, but also mentally humiliated, while the perpetrators spread films of these humiliations in relevant groups, such as Meinbezirk reported. In addition, the investigators assume a high number of other deeds.

nationwide effects and further investigations

So far, 23 house searches have been carried out, in which prohibited objects such as weapons and addictive substances have been ensured. The police announced that there are eleven Austrian citizens among the arrested eleven, as well as participants from Croatia, Romania, Slovakia and Germany. The targeted search was made possible by the excellent investigations by the criminal police, which show that it is not only about classic robberies, but rather an organized group that committed serious crimes under the pretext of "hunting" for supposed pedophile perpetrators, but deliberately knew that their victims are not pedophile. This targeted elimination of such groups is seen as an urgently needed step in the fight against hate crime.
