Politicians Holtz under pressure: Police are examining allegations by meeting!
Bad Oldesloe. A political drama unfolds in Bad Oldesloe! The left-wing politician Hendrik Holtz had to answer for a heated meeting of the main committee in July at the Ratzeburg police department. The reason? Statements that fell during a debate about the destruction of election posters of the left before the European elections in June. Holtz reported around 160 destroyed or stolen posters and accused the police not to take sufficient action against crime.
In the session, the situation escalated when Holtz assumed that the officials lacked a lack of willingness to educate and even doubted their constitutional faithful. Mayor Jörg Lembke described Holtz 'appearance as "relatively male" and noticed that the police officers looked affected. The police were forced to take the allegations seriously and initiated a trial against Holtz because of the initial suspicion of the defamation. "Doubts about the constitutional loyalty of police officers are serious allegations," said police spokeswoman Sandra Kilian.
police dispenses with a criminal complaint
After an open conversation between Holtz and the police, which took place in a "constructive atmosphere", the police department decided to do without a criminal complaint. Holtz was positive about the conversation, while the police described the allegations as a general and injurious. Holtz finally apologized for his statements, who had given the impression of wanting to devalue the police. Nevertheless, the matter remains not fully clarified for him because he complains about the supposedly incorrect meeting protocol.
Plans the Oldeslo city policy to deal with the incident again in order to finally clarify the situation. The tensions between politics and the police in Bad Oldesloe are far from settled!
