Dr. Ramez Shahin and Heinz Sandbrink fulfilled a long-cherished wish with their start at the New York Marathon. The two athletes belong to the run group Run-to-Run, which was launched in 2019 and meets regularly at the picturesque Segeberg Lake.

After five months of intensive training and over 520 kilometers, the time had finally come! The two runners started in the fifth wave of start on Sunday at 11.30 a.m. Dr. Shahin with the start number 44648 and Sandbrink with number 59332 fought through the streets of New York.
