Kaltenkirchen shines: New Christmas rondel promises festival magic!

Kaltenkirchen. After a year break, the Christmas market in Kaltenkirchen returns and becomes bigger than ever! From November 27 to December 22, 2024, the rondel on the Green Market will be transformed into a magical winter wonderland. Mayor Stefan Bohlen and Mayor Raimund Neumann (both CDU) open the event on November 27th at 4 p.m. The opening times are from Monday to Wednesday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 12 noon to 10 p.m. and Sundays 12 noon to 8 p.m.

The new concept promises an unforgettable experience! Numerous wooden huts are being built on the parking crondel that offer inviting delicacies and festive drinks. A Highlight is the twelve -meter -long ice stock railway, which promises fun for the whole family. Big and small can play together with modern plastic ice sticks. There is also a historical carousel for the children and a varied program with Santa Claus and Disney characters. Atmospheric after-work events with DJS provide relaxed evenings.

Particularly noteworthy is the charity hut, in which local clubs, schools and daycare centers offer handmade gifts for a good cause. Visitors can also hand in donations for the needy who are distributed at Christmas. The Bergmann Group, a Hamburg event agency, organizes the Christmas market and will also be responsible for implementing in the next three years.

In addition, the popular "boot campaign" starts on November 29, in which children's boots can be given to be returned on St. Nicholas Day. A handicraft market will take place on November 29th and 30th in the multi -generation house.
