Christmas magic and New Year's sounds: concerts in the state theater!

The pre-Christmas period in Schleswig-Holstein is celebrated musically! The 3rd symphony concert in December promises a real festival for the ears. International Christmas classics, including a Polish Christmas carol from the 17th century, and Tschaikowski's Nusscracker Suite are heard under the motto shine. The Schleswig-Holstein Symphony Orchestra, together with the opera and extraachor, as well as the soloist Itziar Lesaka (Alt) and Mikołaj Bońkowski (bass), will put the audience in a festive mood.

Another highlight is on the program with the New Year's concert! From January 1st to 11th, the Schleswig-Holstein Symphony Orchestra will make the stage shaken with musical fireworks of greats such as John Williams and Leonard Bernstein. And the best? An premiere of the Azerbaijani composer Khadija Zeynalova, who wrote her work "Feuertempel" especially for this event!

The concert series also offers special programs for the latest music fans. The listening concert for children up to 3 years invites you to crawl and dance, while the children's concert promises a musical journey through time for 4- to 11-year-olds. Young people aged 12 and over can discover the world of impact instruments in the youth concert. These events are perfect for inspiring young people for music!
