A sad end for the search for a missing man from Silberstedt! The 61-year-old, who was considered disappearing since mid-October, was found lifeless on Thursday. The police announced the shocking news on Monday. The last time the man was seen on October 16 in the Fliedhof, on the northern outskirts of Schleswig, after being in the Helios Clinic.

The search for the missing person was comprehensive and dramatic! The police, fire brigade and numerous helpers combed the surroundings. Even a helicopter from the federal police was in action, equipped with a thermal imaging camera, to discover every little trace. People's detection dogs supported the search on Wednesday, but all efforts were unsuccessful. Hope seemed to be waning until the terrible discovery was made on October 31st.
