Scandal in the port of Neustäd: Climate fighter damage luxury yacht!

Neustadt/Niebüll. A scandalous incident is shaken by the Baltic Sea: activists of the last generation in summer 2023 Ancora Marina A luxury yacht, the "Lady M", poured over with orange color! The willful vandalism leaves an enormous damage of at least 250,000 euros. Now the five accused have to answer to the Niebüll district court. The public prosecutor has already charged!

But that's not all! These self -proclaimed climate protectors are also responsible for two further incidents on Sylt. There they devastated the bar area in the Hotel Miramar and contaminated facades in Kampen - the total damage on the North Sea island amounts to over 100,000 euros! The indictment includes property damage and trespassing, which could lead to fines or even imprisonment of up to two years. The court must now decide whether the indictment is approved. A judgment will be expected at the beginning of next year.

Last generation: A procedure is running in Berlin

The members of the last generation justify their actions with the claim that a superyacht causes more greenhouse gases than 600 people! On the "Lady M" they held banners with the provocative inscription "Your luxury = our crop failures". Among the six participants is a 20-year-old from Berlin who has to answer to the Tiergarten district court. He is accused of spraying the yacht with a fire extinguisher and sticking to the side wall. The main hearing is on January 23!

The "Lady M", a 30 meter long magnificent building, is currently not in the port of Neustädter, but on a shipyard where it is extensively restored. Despite the high costs, the 85-year-old owner, Hella Mohr, does not want to give up her late husband's legacy. The insurance could take over the damage, but also claim claims against the climate activists. So there is a civilian dispute!
