HSG Ostsee N/G loses again: coach demands basic improvements!
In a dramatic handball game in Berlin , the third division handball players from the HSG Ostsee N/G again experienced a bitter defeat. With a final score of 31:38 (11:20) against the foxes Berlin Reinickendorf II, they had to give the third game in a row. The game started promising for the Ostholsteiner, who took the lead 2-1 with two goals from Friedrich Paul Kilias in the third minute. But the swing did not last long; After a missed seven meter of Kilias, the foxes ceaselessly pulled away and dominated the game.
At halftime the HSG was 11:20 behind, and the performance of the Berlin playmaker Felix Mart was crucial. With eight goals, he contributed his part to victory and increased his season balance to an impressive 97 goals. HSG coach Nico Kibat was visibly frustrated with the many technical mistakes and the weak retreat behavior of his players. "You don't win a game with eight technical mistakes and eleven misses," said Kibat. Despite a better appearance in the second half, in the Baltic Sea again to 31:36, the deficit was too big to tear the helm around.
Baltic Sea plans to catch up
The next challenge is already in front of the door: On November 16, the HSG will meet SC Magdeburg II. Kibat has clear plans to end the negative series and to integrate his injured and sick players back into the team. "Intensive units are pending because the coming weekend is the only free until Christmas," emphasized the coach. The HSG Ostsee N/G hopes to go into the next games with fresh vigor and finally collect points again.
