Sylt, Deutschland - A dramatic process has started: six members of the controversial protest group "Last generation" stand before the district court of Niebüll, accused of a spectacular color attack on a private jet on Sylt. The accused, aged 22 to 61, must be responsible for property damage, disruption of public businesses and trespass. This could have been the most expensive action in the group, with an estimated damage of over one million euros. The judgment is expected on Friday.

The Flensburg public prosecutor accuses five of the accused of entering the airport site in order to spray the private jet with orange color. They are said to have damaged the engines. On the wages of the jet, they unrolled banners with provocative messages such as "Your luxury - our drought". They are also accused of dug holes on a golf course and planted a tree. The acts occurred in June of last year.
