Wismar is looking forward to a new burger hotspot: Peter Pane opened!
Wismar. An exciting new chapter for burger lovers in Wismar! At the end of November, the brand new restaurant Peter Pane opens in the "Drewespark", the city's largest shopping center. The anticipation is huge, because the opening invitations are already sent!
With an impressive area of 500 square meters, the restaurant offers space for 230 guests inside and another 130 outdoors. Here visitors can enjoy lush burgers, crispy fries, fresh salads and homemade lemonades. Wismar will be the 56th location of the popular gastro chain based in Lübeck and the first restaurant in this Hanseatic city!
ecological Engagement by Peter Pane
But that's not all! Peter Pane goes beyond the culinary delights and relies on sustainability. Part of the profit from the new restaurant is invested in the “Peter Pflanzt” initiative. This climate project ensures the care of around 1000 hectares of climate-stable mixed forest in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Schleswig-Holstein. Over 150,000 new trees are planted every year and looked after up to the full size!
The trees not only offer habitat for endangered species such as older and sea eagles, but also produce oxygen for around ten people every day. In addition, each tree filters around one ton of fine dust every year! In addition, Peter Pane supports regional associations with the "Peter Hilfe" initiative, which has already fulfilled 350 wishes for children and young people since 2019.
New jobs in Wismar
In this new hotspot, 40 employees also have the chance to train themselves in the company's own academy in Redefin. "We want to shape a future in which we all want to live," explains Patrick Junge, the founder of Peter Pane. Customers should be able to enjoy a carefree time here and leave everyday life behind. Wismar can look forward to a new taste experience!
