Eisbahn on the EXE: Students are committed to winter magic!

In Flensburg there is reason to be happy! The popular ice rink on the EXE returns, and thanks to the tireless efforts of pupils in the surrounding schools. These young activists were disappointed when the city initially planned not to build the ice rink this year. But they did not give up and turned directly to the city administration with the urgent request to enable the ice rink again.

After intensive discussions with those responsible, a solution could now be found. Stadtwerke Flensburg has agreed to supply the ice rink with free green electricity! A real gain for the environment and the winter season! The opening of the ice rink is planned for December 14th and it will be open until March 2. A highlight for everyone who wants to enjoy the winter in Flensburg!

A winter dream is true

The return of the ice rink is not only a festival for the children and young people, but also for all Flensburgers who look forward to a winter pleasure. Sleit shoe on the exe will be possible again, and the anticipation for the opening increases! With this Initiative, the students show how important the community and leisure activities are in the cold season. A strong sign of commitment and cohesion in Flensburg!
