The seaside stage on the Biedermeierstrand in Hayna has developed into a cultural highlight in the region. After a comprehensive renovation that took ten months, the stage was ceremoniously opened on August 5, 2023. The aim of the renovation was to transform the event site into a versatile performance center, with an increased seating capacity of 1000 seats, which is a significant increase compared to 350 places.

The conversion required massive efforts and materials, including 72 tons of steel and 600 cubic meters of concrete. In addition, about 22 kilometers of power cables were laid. The project team had to master numerous challenges, including the Covid 19 pandemic, changeable weather, delivery bottlenecks and personnel difficulties to complete the lake stage in good time for the 2023 season. With the opening presentation of the musical "Travel to the center of the earth", the stage immediately showed its new versatility.

The musical is listed by the Musik- und Theaterverein Priester directed by Maximilian Zwiener. Zwiener was not only a director, but also a composer of the musical, which is one of the largest projects in his career. The premiere in the previous year was sold out and work on the play began before corona apandemia. Christoph Zwiener, Maximilian's father, wrote the text book and has many new ideas for future productions. Maximilian Zwiener 2019 took over the musical direction and staging.

The musical will be performed again in the coming summer of 2024, with new surprises planned, including new choreographies and light projections. A second line -up for the leading role is introduced, while costumes and stage parts are stored over the winter to optimize preparations for the next season. In addition, Maximilian Zwiener looks after the Christmas piece "Ghosts of Christmas", which has been performed since 1998, and has modernized the music for it.
