Belgern celebrates Advent: tunnels, puppet theater and grill magic!

Belglen. Advent in the courtyards promises an unforgettable experience for all visitors. From 2 p.m., the gates will open to a total of 26 farms and facilities that come up with a festive atmosphere and delicious treats. The preparations are in full swing, and the volunteers, led by Sophie Erdmann (21), have already baked over 200 tunnels. But the demand is huge - if you want to secure yourself a bit, you have to be quick!

Belgns Pastor Robert Neuwirt A highlight will be the monastery courtyard, where Pastor Robert Neuwirt personally uses grill tongs! Here the adults can relax in a cozy café, while the fire brigade offers the little guests at the stick dough and tea free of charge. The proceeds of the festival flows into the organization of the St. Bartholomäus town church and the new seating of the Neußen church. A visit is worth it twice!

New this year is an enchanting puppet theater in Oschatzer Straße, which exudes Christmas charm from the Czech Republic. The archaeologist Dr. Pavla Ender will bring the adventure of the popular hangover Mike to life around the Christmas tree. The demonstrations take place at 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. - fun for the whole family!

For everyone who arrives by car, the large parking lot at the town hall is the best option because the city center is blocked. From there it is only about 1000 meters to the parish road, where most stands can be found. And don't forget: At 4 p.m. the big Christmas pyramid is solemnly pushed on the market square! A festival that you shouldn't miss!
