This time the signs in the Hammermühle district and the Körbitzweg disappeared, and not as usual during the music festivals, but only in autumn. The signs, which often appear as a "souvenir" for festival visitors, are an expensive pleasure - every new preparation costs around 300 euros!

In order to counteract the annoyance of the repeated thefts, the city of Bad Düben has found a creative solution: a free sign rental that was launched in autumn 2023. Mayor Astrid Münster (WBD) reports on a great start of the rental, which is particularly popular with festival visitors. The metal signs with the dimensions 600 by 900 millimeters are in high demand, and the city has already received inquiries from a wide variety of regions-from the Baltic Sea to Namibia! Even the city boss itself used a mobile table on her travels through the Baltic States.
