In the meantime, residents reported a shocking experience: "Everything was red and full of sparks," said a woman who witnessed the accident. A neighbor noticed a light flash of light, followed by smoke and fire, when the plane just missed a residential building.

The German Federal Affairs Office for Flight Accident Investigation will also be on site to support the investigation.
