Jazz dance gala inspires in Speyer: 55 years full of rhythm and joy!

Stadthalle Speyer, Speyer, Deutschland - On December 7, 2024, the Stadthalle Speyer experienced a brilliant festival: TSV celebrated the 55th anniversary of the jazz dance department under the direction of Renate Behm with an impressive gala. Over 150 participants between the ages of 3 and 69 delighted the spectators with a variety of dance performances that impressively demonstrated the revitalization and dynamics of this art form. The versatile program extended over three hours and showed talents from the recent dancers, the dance gnomes, which opened the show with their star dance, right down to the oldies who presented their new show dance "Sweet Dreams" like the Speyer-Kurier reported.

The gala came up with other highlights: the night schools surprised the audience with a light dance, while the Jazzkid's lively choreographies for "La Cintura" and "Girls Just Want to have fun". Renate Behm, who coordinated the overall project, thanked her helpers and gave the numerous guests an insight into the hundreds of working hours that had been prepared. In particular, the updated tire gymnastics and the creative show dances captivated the spectators and provided enthusiastic applause. The gala not only offered dance highlights, but also a platform for the community. The event started at 5:00 p.m., the doors opened for the spectators at 4:00 p.m. In the middle of the festive atmosphere it became clear that the jazz dance at TSV is not just a sport, but a passion that connects and inspires generations.
