According to Sächsische.de drove a Dutch VW transporter off the road at around 1:20 p.m. for an unknown cause. The vehicle damaged several traffic signs and an emergency column before it came to a standstill on the guardrail.

The police reported that there were no significant disabilities on the highway, only slight traffic disruptions with a traffic jam of about one kilometer in length.
